openTX ( 9XR pro ) issues

openTx has introduced a range of new features, ideas and bling. It is fast becoming the firmware of choice for many users. openTx will run on ALL current hardware platforms, including the gruvin9x and sky9x boards. Work has already started to support the new FrSky X9D radio!

openTX ( 9XR pro ) issues

Post by old4570 »

1) openTX 2.2 Latest build ( only one day old ) crashed and burned ( Eeprom error ) deleting all settings ..
2) installing firmware as AETR does not result in AETR but rather RETA
3) Freezing on start up = Some sort of SD card issue ( Remove the SD card and looks to start ok )

Is there a stable openTX 2.2 for the Turnigy 9XR pro ?

There is no stable 2.2 for anything since it's not even officially released yet...
These all seem like usage issues though, except maybe 3 since I believe that's been an occasional issue even in previous versions.

Cant say !

I removed all software etc from my puter !
Then downloaded everything fresh , and re installed companion 2.2 bla bla ..
Re flashed the Tx from a re formatted SD card , but installed the firmware RETA ..
And it looks to be AETR in the Tx (?)
The important thing is I can re assign function to channels ..
openTx seems to be running ok , I have 4 models in the memory , running the iRangeX IRX4 multiprotocol module .
WL toys 959 quad
Eachine H8 mini
Walkera QR W100s
and the Eachine X73 ( bit of a lemon ) - don't recommend it .

And if anyone is wondering , you can run er9x with your 9x or 9xr and use the multi module ( I am )
