Here is what the text file says on my sd card

I open this file with notepad (opentx.sdcard.version)

and this is what inside(2.2V0007)

This is the Qx7 radio that I am beginning to dislike very much.(Should have kept the X9D)

I found when I got that error today I hadn't downloaded and copied the SD card contents over. Once done the error went away.

Best I can tell the SD Card Contents looks like a file directory with a bunch of read me files
do you copy that onto a blank card, then flash the firmware?

When you download a sd card zip or rar file and extract it, you'll see an extra file besides the folders. This is what otx looks for for sd version that goes with the fw version.
Rather than reformat the sd are and copy all these folders and file over, I just copy the version file if it's missing.
