remove decimal point when value spoken

openTx has introduced a range of new features, ideas and bling. It is fast becoming the firmware of choice for many users. openTx will run on ALL current hardware platforms, including the gruvin9x and sky9x boards. Work has already started to support the new FrSky X9D radio!

remove decimal point when value spoken

Post by nicholgd »

Hi Is it possible to remove the decimal point when a value is spoken? I am running opentx 2.1.19 on a 9xe and using an airspeed and altimeter sensor.
For example instead of "24.6 feet" being spoken "24 feet"
I have managed to change the feet wav to "ft" which sounds better not so cumbersome and also the "miles per hour" to mph which is quicker to say.
Thanks
Geoff

If you never want a decimal for any announcement you can just delete the "point x" files.

Thanks for the quick response. I was thinking of doing that ,but I am unsure of the Its effects elsewhere . Voltage readouts 4V instead of 4.9v for example.

Yep, as said you'd have no more decimals anywhere. Unfortunately that's the only solution at this point.
