Hey guys so I was browsing the net today and came across and interesting webpage
http://rc-soar.com/opentx/setups/adjuster/adjuster.htm
It describe the process of changing what the trims do. I don't use trims right now on my taranis and would be great to have them to adjust parameters in my flybarless controller. So I am here to ask are they changing the code itself of opentx to achieve this? If that is how it is done where can I get the source code and a tutorial on how to compile it myself after doing the changes? If there is an easier way to do it let me know. Thanks guys!

Re: Repurposing Trims
It should work as is. Where you use a stick as a mix source, untick the "Include trim" box.
Then you should be able to use the trims as mix sources.
Mike.

Re: Repurposing Trims
Yeah I see that but will assigning it to a mix automatically keep it from being used a trim as well. So if I assign my rudder trim to channel 9 to change tail gain, i dont want it also giving rudder trim.
Re: Repurposing Trims
Ahh i found it, in the inputs tab you select the input and change trim to off! thanks guys
