Hi Rad,
I may have what you need, but I will need to check to see what I have.
If no one else comes up with one before next Tuesday,
Then I will let you know if I have one.

Hi mate. The problem about my radio is my son dropped the radio to the floor, and one of the gimbals died. I bareable fixed it, but sometimes the gimbal, sticks and while no catastrophic (Im with RC tanks, no planes, so nothing will fall and crash, lol) its annoying.

If you have both gimballs it might be a good idea to buy the two from you, just in case some disaster happens again. I am living in Austria, so shipping from the US might be very pricey, but we can talk about it.

I considered installing taranis gimballs, but I think for what we do we just dont need them, and also I am worried about my lack of skill installing them, but if really worths the time and price I might give it a try.

Please in case I forget to write you back next week, please send me an email to [email protected]

Thanks!

EDIT: I took another look to installing taranis gimbals in the 9xr pro, and definitelly the sanding part is not for me, lol. But just curious, do the taranis gimballs fit the Flysky 9x with no surgery mods? Im using a 9xtreme board.

The taranis gimbals fit the 9x radio. I have them in most of my 9x radios

Hi Joao, is it a straight fit or do I need to sand, grind, and make new holes on the taranis gimbals?

I can not find any video or tutorial fitting them in a 9x, but there are some for the 9xr pro.

Hi mate, Im afraid I have no way to cut those metal gimbals and also are very pricey. Id stick buying your old 9xr pro gimbals, lol.

That is for the old taranis gimbals, not the M9 ones. You know that, right? ;)

Yep, for this ones, right? https://hobbyking.com/en_us/frsky-repla ... itter.html

The new m9 ones has metal and looks hard to mod, but the taranis ones looks like almost and straight fit on the 9x.

In the Pro is another story. Hope bob finds his gimballs at home...

Hi Rad,
I found where I had placed the box of new and old Gimbals.
I believe the 9XR-Pro and the older 9XR radios use the same Gimbals.
If I remember correctly, they were sold as 9XR replacement Gimbals.
I had purchased them for the pots in them to use them as replacement pots in the 9x radios.
I have 5 new 9XR Gimbals ($5.00 US for each), how many do you want ?

I know I am new here, but I saw this post about replacement gimbals for a TURNIGY 9XR. I wanted to make both gimbals self centering.

Does not look like, that I can see, the Throttle/Rudder Gimbal can be changed by just adding a spring to return stick back to center.
I think you would need a spring and some hardware to change the Throttle/Rudder Gimbal into a self centering Ail/Ele Gimbals (Mode 2).
I only had one self centering Gimbal, but I do still have several new 9XR Throttle/Rudder Gimbals, sorry.
