Directory layout for SD card

Post by robinc »

The SD card supplied with my Turnigy 9XR Pro was defective, so I do not have voices and any other features made possible by the SD card...
I have been looking in the manual etc. but have not been able to find a description yet what directories should exist on the SD card, naming convention etc. The only two I have guessed are /firmware for firmware and /voice for voice (though I am not sure if it should be /voice/system and /voice/user ?).
Is there some documentation I have not found, or could somebody help me out here? :)
Thank you!

Don't forget to put "Multi.txt" on the root of his SD card.

What is the directory structure for images.. running er9x on a Taranis Plus, I can't seem to find the .bmps. The SD has a BMP directory.
Thanks for your help.

You can the use BMP folder in the opentx SD card and change the "BMP" folder name to "IMAGES"
to use them in your erSky9x Taranis radio.
.bmp images will work with erSky9x.
Found some more info here (ERSKY9X on Taranis):
(http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic ... 300#p97051).

But I think there maybe a file size limit and maybe a file name limit of 8 charters
(Add edit: found renamed to 10 to characters long to be the max).
But I do not remember at this time and I may be thinking of the limits with the voice files.
So try several to see if that it is working for you,
if it dose not work the file maybe to large or file name to long.
Maybe Mike will see this and update us.
