9XR Pro - XJT Telemetry Cable

Post by erayymz »

I have ordered a telemetry cable from ebay which arrived today. I am not sure how to connect the cable to my XJT module.

As seen in below picture, the XJT module features 4pin port for telemetry, and 3pin smart port. The cable I have is a 3 prong cable. Can you help me identify which pins and what order do I need to connect the cable?

If it is the pro you don't need that cable.. you just need to update the firmware to the latest ersky9x.
The latest version supports the XJT module without any cables or modifications. Do you still have the stock firmware installed?

So then forget the cable.. The XJT is already connected using pin5 of the module bay and you can have telemetry displayed on the radio.

I need some help on this too. I've tried everything I can come up with. I have 9XR Pro with updated firmware to 217. I have the XJT and the X8R with smart port. I have the Voltage sensor and GPS with Smart port. The only time I get any reading from the receiver to my 9XR Pro is under PPM D16 with the cable attached and I get the RSSI reading. I get nothing from the Volt Sensor or GPS. Please help. Thanks.

Do you mean PPM D16, or PXX D16?
What cable do you have attached? The XJT needs no cables as it connects directly via the bottom pin of the module connector.

I switched to PXX D16. Switched to using SBUS from CC3D board to X8R receiver. I still can't figure it out.

The internal connection from the XJT is on COM1, so make sure you have that set in the telemetry menu, COM2 is for the external cable.

Do you have the protocol set to PXX (protocol menu), and do you have "Invert COM1" set to OFF in the telemetry menu?
