New Turnigy 9x question

Post by stewwy »

Be gentle this is my first post

Just got a new 9x (NOT a 9xr) opened it up, 'cos I like to tinker, and and in preparation for flashing, and found instead of the atmega64 I was expecting it had an atmega128A.

I'm waiting for a smartie parts board and am now wondering which FW to flash ( also got the DIY Frsky telemetry kit and D4R II on the way)

I have done a search (not a complete noob on forums :D )and can see mention of the 128 fitted to the 9XR but nothing about the 9x

Just had an email from steven at smartie parts and my 9extreem board should be shipping soon :D

Since a few months 9x radios are shipped with an atmega128

If you bought the 9xtreme board, go with er9x. The 9xtreme board will ship with ersky9x which is basically er9x with more features ;)
