Twin throttle link switch!

Hi folks.

I'm scale modelling a lifeboat and using ER9X, and on the left stick I have Port throttle and bow thruster, and on the right stick I have the starboard throttle and the rudders.

For slow speed maneuvering, the port and starboard throttles need to be controlled seperately to turn the boat.

However, for higher speed driving I don't need the increased maneuverability and would find it easier to move both throttle controls to one stick (the left stick, to be precise), so I just have throttle + rudder, one on each stick. (the bow thruster is just disabled through safety switches)

I've been playing around a bit but I'm struggling to see how to do it. I've tried making mixes, but essentially it needs to use a switch to change the source from the right stick to the left stick. Is it possible to use a switch to swap between sources for a particular channel?

Hi, welcome to the forum. Try this: I use mode 2, so Ail and Ele on the right sticks, and Thr and Rud on the left.
We will use Thr as the left throttle on Ch3, Ele as the right throttle on Ch2, and Ail as your Rudder on Ch1

CH01 100% Ail (This is your Rudder)

CH02 100% Ele (your right motor controlled by the right vertical stick)
R 100% Thr Switch (THR) (when the THR switch is ON, the throttle stick will control the right motor also instead of the left stick. This is a replace mix, note the "R")

CH03 100% Thr (This is your Left throttle, controlled by the Left vertical stick)

A-ha! Got it.

My issue was with trying to put two mixes on the same channel - you need to do it with the insert option.
