Setting alarms question

Post by gordinir8 »

Ok so i have my ternigy 9XR with er9X installed and set my telemetry display set.
I am trying to set some alarms but there is no sound. To be more specific i have set some A1 and A2 channel values, connect my receiver with a power supply and start reducing input voltage below the values i have set, i can see the voltage dropping on my display but there is no alarm.
I have set int. frsky alarm to off.

With Int. FrSky alarm OFF, then you are using the alarms in the Tx module.
The TxRSSI and RxRSSI alarms are stored in the Tx module. If these settings are staying as you you set them, when you power the Tx off and on, then this confirms your connections to the Tx module are OK. (You have connected both Tx and Rx to the module haven't you?).

CustomSwitches:

CS1 v<ofs A1= 5V (or whatever you want to set)
CS2 v<ofs A2= 11V (or whatever voltage)

safety switches:

CH9 A CS1 Warn1 (or whatever other alarm you like)
CH10 A Warn2 (or whatever other alarm)

Thix could vary depending on the er9x version you have installed. :)

Ok i applied the settings and alarms now work, ofcourse no matter of what sound i choose warn 1, warn 2 etc i can only hear One single beep.
Pretty difficult for someone that he is not an expert to think and imagine what er9x can do!
I also check that the low signal alarm works by default as before, a really useful feature of Frsky.
