Keeps flicking me back a page ?

Hi guys,

This forum is playing up (for me anyways).

When I log in and go to a specific topic or any page, it starts loading all these items and then flicks back to the previous page I was on.

It also randomly logs me out.

Any clue what's going on here? very annoying. It doesn't happen on any other forum or website I visit.

No issue here. Try to clear your cache/cookies, and update your bookmarks to the new address?

are you on a android or apple tablet or computer ? I've seen some weirdness on my android tablet but not like what you have mentioned. It was looking like the javascript on the text entry boxes was acting up.

I'm using my laptop with XP.

It keeps making a mouse clicking noise all the time. It's almost like someone else is clicking stuff at the same time and I end up on a random page.

I also keep getting logged out for no reason.

Very annoying.

hmmm. Maybe try another browser and see if it works any different. chrome, firefox, anything but IE

I run win vista and Internet explorer and have never had a similar issue.

Seems to have settled down although it still keeps randomly logging me out.

I don't have any problems with other forums, websites etc ?

I dont believe this is anything to do with the forum - but rather your isp is running some sort of proxy server that is caching information - and creating some funnies.

Not much we can do to solve it from this end

Hi,
I was haveing similar probs but only after Rob changed the name of the Forum. Each time he did this it did the same thing. Only on IE,Firefox and google chrome were ok.Got round the problem by using the ip address and then deleting my old Favourite and resaving.

Same here, were did the chat bar come from?? On the bottom of the page? My browser just flickers in time to the chat bar popping in and out? I can get in some times by clicking a saved link to a decision on FPB. Ill try deleting my saved stuff, for this for this form.

does anyone use that chatbar ? It's been there for awhile for me. I've had issues before with too much and/or badly executed javascript on IE. IMHO if your using IE, that is your problem. If your using another browser, then it's something else. And maybe newer versions of IE have improved, I wouldnt know about that.

Here is just one of the 1/2 dozen javascripts loading. if you search for "MSIE" (aka internet explorer ) on this page you will see it in there 5 times where it probably is used to make decisions regarding the implementation of the js or .css . to be fair "mozilla" does come up once

I started looking at it and saw where someone tried to contact me back in february. oops. I looked up their posting history and they got their issue resolved

Yes Ido use the chat nearly everyday. Sometimes if you are in trouble another user can help you using the chat.. it's very helpfull. of course you can also use it as a chat and speak with some nice people You can close it if you don't want it.. Just click on the arrow on the botton right corner of your browser..
