Rob, Can't check on my tablet at the moment as it is elsewhere, however, and a bit OT but I have notice a lot of broken image links in the forum today. Just thought I'd mention it in case your aren't aware and are browsing via a local environment ;)

Can you send me a page link with the broken images on it?

I have not seen any issues myself.

I must admit - I did not watch all of it.

Any change you are getting access via a proxy server?

The one page where I noticed missing images was here:
http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic ... 477#p50738
It seems to be fixed now.

OT: reinstalling firefox doesn't remove your settings. To do that simply remove the directory '~/.mozilla/firefox'
The other thing you could try is private mode, I think it is "<ctrl><shift>P" to get into there. That also should be like opening up a new browser window that hasn't been used before.

No proxy that i am aware of.
I did try the 'igcognito' mode or whatever it is called. That may have been in chromium.
I did clear all application data in firefox. Will remove the entire directory late tonight.

Did try a small test passing a user agent to the command line tool wget and viewing the downloaded index.html. that DID seem to work, so maybe something is going on at my end.

I was mainly raising my hand and saying 'me too' when the OP of this issue surfaced. Wondering if his issue is resolved ?

Thanks

Strange. I don't have an answer why it is not working for you.

My only thought is maybe your isp doing a transparent cache!

I don't know if running a traceroute will help any. On Ubuntu there is an 'mtr' command.
I ran this "mtr -r -w -c 5 openrcforums.com > mtr.openrcforums.txt" and got the attached report.
