I'm a little surprised there are only 233 memebers here. Does that sound about right? Alot of the discussion is pretty heavy on the technical side, but I really thought given stevens number in about a year he sold about 1000 solderless prog. boards? Do you think that means that a majority of 9x users go solderless? And then don't really do any other mods?

That includes me on 2 radios. I never bothered with frsky. I might if I ever save enough for FPV equipment, but until then, never really saw an advantage.

So how many custom fw users are there out there?? And why only 233 here so far?

Or for a lot of users it's a fad. You don't need to be registered to read posts. It may also be the other 800 or so don't need help.

The list can go on and on, and on.

And, how many smartieparts boards do you own? It may be only 3 or 400 people own them, some people buy a board for each radio, and if they have 2 or 3, eats up the number of valid users.

Why does it matter? Enjoy the small group.

I think given the very short time this forum exists shows how large the following is.
But even 1000 (2000? More?) users aint enough!

You have to give it time. There a loads of people with 9x's. The sale rate shows that!

Just key to get the knowledge about the alternative firmwares out.

We have had the new forum about a month now. 200 members is not a bad growth for 30 days of running!
