Bug: Turnigy 9XR Pro Stock FW and Companion9X 2.0.8

Hi Guys!

Not sure if the intention is to keep Companion9X (2.0.8) compatible with different Tx firmware forks, but there are several severe bugs loading models from the "stock" Turnigy 9XR Pro firmware:

• Servo limits are off by a factor of 10 (e.g, 125 becomes 12.5)
• Ele and Thr are swapped in inputs (D/R and Expo)
• Ele and Thr are swapped in mixes
• FULL and HALF mix source become switch inputs

There may be other conversion issues that went unnoticed or were missed because my models don't use every feature.

As an aside, I've upgraded my firmware to OpenTX 2.0.8, so don't expect any further problems...

Companion and erSKY9xr are not intended to work together.

Please use Companion with OpenTX
and eepSkye with erSKY9xr (stock FW of 9XR pro)
but don't mix 'em.

eepskye is the PC software that is updated in line with ersky9x.

As an aside, I've upgraded my firmware to OpenTX 2.0.8, so don't expect any further problems...

I'm not sure "upgraded" is the correct term, changed might be better. ersky9xr, the version of ersky9x for the 'PRO, has been developed along with the 'PRO hardware and includes support both for specific hardware upgrades and known Tx modules that are in development. I don't believe openTx includes this support.
ersky9x also underwent significant testing, to ensure full compatibility, during the development phase, along with the production of manuals for its use with the 'PRO.

I assume you had a specific reason for changing from the supplied firmware.

Sorry, no slight intended what-so-ever: ersky9x and ersky9xr are both awesome pieces of software and significant effort has gone into their continued development, including support for Taranis and 9XR Pro.

I also have a Turnigy 9X running OpenTx that controls all my non-heli models, with slope, full house gliders and a DLG. When deciding between ersky9x and OpenTx (aka Open9x), I prefered the "flight modes" model for full-house sailplane use, so considered it an "upgrade". The 9XR Pro purchase was an "upgrade" for my old 9X, so that stuck in my head.

But, you're absolutely right: "changed" is a much better term.

So, if there is a particular reason or reasons I should stick with the stock ersky9xr firmware, please let me know! It's just gonna be a pain to edit all my models to account for the differences...

Companion IS NOT compatible with the 9xr pro stock firmware. Please use eepskye which is the right tool for it
