2.0.5 - Radio system DSM start channel

What does the Start channel refer to in the Radio system section when DSMX is selected?

In the transmitter, it shows which ID is associated to the model for model match.

But when I read the settings from the radio, it doesn't match to that screen....so I was wondering what it was referring to.
