simulate telemetry-data in companion9x

Post by Börnie »

Hi

Is it possible to simulate telemetry-data in companion9x?
I want to compute some data like speed and voltage
to affect stick-control.

Hi, welcome to the forum..
I don't know about companion, someone will answer your question shortly I guess..

I would just like to say that I will be following your thread because I'm trying to do the same using ersky9x which is another open source firmware. I'm trying to have the radio controlling the max throttle in proportion to the battery voltage.. That means, the battery voltage should always stay above a set value. It's not easy because the telemetry suffers from a "Delay" syndrome ;) making things more difficult.. You can see my progress (not much) here..
I managed to fly with this but sometimes, if i force the throttle to the max, there are some big oscillations and the voltage tend to drop to dangerous levels.. You can have a look at what I have done until now, even if opentx and ersky9x use different approaches to do this..

Once again, be very welcome to the forum.
