uploading voice to taranis

Post by john27031953 »

Hi guys

Got the Taranis working OK with Companion 9x
Have downloaded /opentx-taranis/en
from http://voices-20.open-tx.org/opentx-taranis/en/
Is there a "How do I put them into the Taranis" help page?
Looked on youtube and google and your site but no luck

When I first got help from you folks last year, I was getting an email notification when you posted a reply to my post
Have looked into my account settings and the box is ticked but none have come

Taranis comes with voices pre-loaded on the microSD card. For more information check out http://open-txu.org/

Scott
Thanks a good video
Someone at out club said you could setup the Taranis with a
"Welcome John " intro when you turn it on
I cannot see that in the video
Is that possible?
In the video he sets up on a switch the value of Cell
Is that the voltage of the battery or something else?

Other question
Should I get an email when you guys post a response to my post?

Cheers

If the 'welcome John..." you are looking for is when you turn on the tx. It is on the SD card.
Look in SD/SOUNDS/en/SYSTEM ( Assuming you are using english...which most downunder folks did when I was there)

You will see a file named tada.wav . Use a media player or audio programm to listen to it to make sure you have the correct one.
Rename it ot something tada_Old.wav...whatever.
Now use
http://www2.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php There are several different voices you can try for the sound that you like best.
to make a file for "Welcome John to FrSky with OpenTx. Blah, blah ...."
Download it and store it in SD/SOUNDS/en/SYSTEM as tada.wav.
