I am trying to fly FPV using my indash DVD player but I'm concerned that the truck will block the 2.4ghz signal. I am using a removable FRSKY module in the back of my Turnigy 9x. Has anyone ever tried to make a sort of extention cord going from the pins on the back of the radio to the module? I would like to plug a connector into the pins connected to a ribbon cable and run it out of my window to the FrySky Module which would be on top of my truck.
Is this possible? and does anyone know where I could get the connectors that would fit the back of the radio and the module? Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Trying to mount the antenna outside my vehicle
Yep, no issue. They're simple 0.1" headers.

this is interesting. I assume your video rx is on top of the truck and run a video wire with RCA jack to your DVD player inside the truck?
Is there any limitation on how long this header can be for ppm signal?
