what antena placement to choose?

hi guys i've been following this forum for the last month and have to say its great but tons of info and people helping each other

i have 2 questions:

1- im in the process of acquiring a x9 tx. and the vendor give the option of having the module antena been wired internally or external wired with the module. the reason i ask is cuz im very interested in making the dsm2 module mod but also want to have the turnegy module functional

2- what bec to buy for the 3.3volts i check hobbyking and all of them are 5v as a minimum so im just wondering where did you get yours.
(also how to wired cuz i chk a link about how to connected but the link redirects me to a vibration motor buzzer mod)
