9x with telemetry working: Data logging?

Hello all,
I have searched the forums, found tons of info but not the answer - and I know there must be a simple solution someone could point me to.
Simply: I have telemetry working on my 9x and would like to log the data for post flight review. How?

Details:
- Stock 9x board with telemetryEZ and smartyparts boards, piezo speaker
- Opentx firmware
- Frsky module, D8R-II + receiver, Frsky vario 2
Everythings works so far.
Now I would like to be able to review altitude data after flights. I fly DLGs.

Bluetooth does not seem to be an option - unless there is an iphone app I don't know about. (no android phone, and moderate soldering skills)
The audio/SD card mod seems quite complex; I opted for the TEZ board - moderate soldering skills again.
So what can I do? (No, I don't want to buy a Taranis - love my 9x)

I think you have 3 options:

1- With your setup, bluetooth and android No iphone app as far as I know..

2- Get the FrSky Taranis Radio

3- Wait for the new 9XR-Pro to be released

Both Taranis and 9XR-Pro can log to the SD Card.

(always wanted to be in touch with you - big time Portugal (Carvoeiro/Ferragudo) fan, and appreciate all your contributions here.)

So, no simple solution.
Mac / iPhone fan with an Android phone as best option .... maybe not log after all and just fly.
Too dumb that the data is there and I can't get it out.

I agree with Joao. Just accept that it's time to move on to either Taranis or 9XR Pro. The 9x has served well but has too many inherent limitations.

I love my 9x's. They feel much better than either the Taranis or the 9XR. Still my favorite radio. Even with limitations, it does all that most of us will ever need.

-> Both: I just got back into the hobby last year and have really enjoyed openoing that 9x a gazillion times till verything worked.
Just getting the vario to work last weekend was another fun 3-4 hours. Upshot: Don't even trust those little one sheet "manuals" that come with the stuff, and if you don't use a hub enter hub anyway - clear as mud.

So first its fly my 40" DLG and 50" plank; and then build a 50" DLG and other stuff. And then one day, maybe, look at another TX.
So much to do, so little time...

How are you with mechanical things? Maybe you can build a phone holder that holds your phone such that it videos the screen. At least then you could see the data, probably even make annotations by voice too.

If you can find a Frsky DHT-U, I'm pretty sure that it does data logging on it's sd card.

Yes, and he'd then lose the telemetry display on the radio and the advanced programming possibilities it offers.
