Your cleanup did a good job [WHITE SMILING FACE]
I was wondering that i could not login via tapatalk - i had been looking around here nearly every day...
Now i realised my account has been deleted.
Probably i should write more often.

Thanks for this fantastic forum

Definitely. It is complicated dealing with spam. there have been constant attacks the last few months.. Sometimes they register and wait without showing any activity. Then suddenly the spam is posted..
If you didn't post as you said, you didn't show any activity, and maybe someone thought that your account was spam and mistakenly deleted it..
Please accept our apologies and welcome back.

We have indeed deleted all accounts that hadn't logged in in >2 weeks AND had never posted (i.e. no content would be lost).

So I'm now up to 153 notifications when I click on "see all", and I still don't seem to have a way of deleting any of them.

No, I tried that. The "Read" checkbox is greyed out on them all. As soon as I go to the post/pm that is the reason for the notification, the checkbox changes from normal to greyed.

Mike.

Yeah because that notification becomes read.
As already said they can't be deleted, only marked as read.

On another note I haven't been able to connect using Tapatalk for a while, anybody else?

It works from my iPhone, but not from my Android phone anymore. Removing/readding doesn't help.

I can only think this has something to do with versions of Tapatalk - or maybe ssl?

I am using Tapatalk at the moment to post this!

Are you sure you have the latest plugin version installed on the forum?

Connecting to server...

I scratched the connection and added again, but no joy.
Some suggestion ? (Other connections I have work as usual)

Maybe is there now in place some limitation about the minimum level of Tapatalk app version ?
Mine is 4.6.2.

Mine is 4.6.2.
It seems so: I installed the release 5.3 and finally managed to reconnect.
Apparently the new forums software is not back compatible with tapatalk 4.

Thanks for testing. Would be good if others who can't connect can confirm it fixes it?

Aha, the morons...
I'm set to autoupdate, so there shouldn't have been a version issue... except I have Tapatalk Pro which I bought some time ago, and it seems they've stopped updating it in favor of the "normal" Tapatalk with in-app purchase, which means I'd have to buy it again if I switched.
Seems an email is in order, given nothing states that's a deprecated version or anything.

Same here: I completely forgot to have purchased in the past the pro version, and the app didn't warn me.

Hey Rob,
In the 9XTreme add-on board section, choosing "Ascending/Descending" changes not the order of the topics according to when they were originally made (left column) but when the last post was made to each topic, (right column) except for Mike's firmware topic which remains at the top in either choice. (like a sticky)
Is there a way to change the order of the topics by date instead of by the last post date to each topic.
I'm hoping it's not the software but operator error and I just haven't figured out how to do it,

thanks

Hi Rob Thomson,
I have not been receiving openrcforums.com Subscribe Topic email updates as I was before two or three days ago.
Is there any changes which could have cause this stopped behavior ?

Hi Rob Thomson,
Also I observed, dates that where posted yesterday May 1st are reported as if they were posted today May 2nd.
I do not know why this is, is there an expansion for this behavior ?

Hi Rob Thomson,
Can the tab (Report this post) in the reply message screen be moved to a different location as I have sometime hit it by mistake.
And maybe have a confirm message box to OK it before it is used.
Thank you!

I am still trying to find out why I am not receiving E-mail Notification anymore.
I have checked my email account and it is not preventing to receive openrcforums.com Edit Notifications.
I was checking the User Control Panel / Board Preferences / Edit Notification Options.
And, has this bend changed or something ? :?: :)

Still not receiving E-mail Notifications.
I have tried removing the Block List and Junk Mail Settings from my e-mail for a short time
and still not receiving openrcforums E-mail Notifications.

I could try opening a new e-mail account and changing my openrcforums User/Profile e-mail to it, to see if it will work ?

I don't think that will make any difference.

The mails are leaving out server. They just never arrive!
