Multiprotocol module and 9XT, Telemetry not working

Post by jhsa »

Mike, using my multi module with the 9XT, selected the frskyD protocol, telemetry COM1, inverted and not inverted. I don't get any telemetry.

On my PRO radio, selecting COM 1 and inverting it, I do receive the telemetry. Is there any special configuration I need to do when compiling the multi code in order to receive the telemetry on the 9XT? Or is there some hardware mod needed?

By the way, a bit off topic as this happens on the PRO, but when using the multi module with the frskyD protocol, when I turn the radio OFF with the receiver still ON, it starts vibrating until it turns OFF. If I turn the rx OFF first, the radio then shuts down normally. This happens only with the multi module, and not with the DJT. Perhaps it could be related to inverting COM1?? I can make a video of it if you want..

Thanks

I have just found out that I have to uncomment the following line in the multi code. Now I have telemetry working on the pro, 9xt and Ar9x. before only on the pro. Also now i do not invert com1 in the telemetry menu
//Uncomment to invert the polarity of the telemetry serial signal.
//For ER9X and ERSKY9X it must be commented. For OpenTX it must be uncommented.
//#define INVERT_TELEMETRY
As you can see the description marked in RED is wrong, at least for Ersky9x. Can't test Er9x.

The vibrating problem on the PRO is still there even not inverting COM1, so perhaps this problem is related to receiving Frsky telemetry from the multi module??

Thanks
