Sorry, I got busy, and didn't get to this test until now...
Okay: I read the EEPROM from the transmitter just fine, and wrote a model to model slot 01. However, when I tried to write it to my transmitter, the operation got stuck at 3% for a very long time. It then gave me an "Operation Failed" error message (refer to post #6). Screenshots below.

It does seem that either the EEPROM is faulty, or one, or more, of the pins of the chip are not connecting properly.
