I stumbled upon a project that attempted to produce a low latency digital HD FPV link. It is over 2.4ghz wifi.
The problem is that i already have a bunch of 2.4ghz frsky receivers and XJT module and don't wonna switch to different equipment.
Same author talks about modifying hardware to limit the wifi range. Article: https://befinitiv.wordpress.com/2015/08 ... o-systems/
I thought, given that we are running ersky9xr for which the source is open, maybe there is a simple software solution to this problem?
Does anyone know if this has been attempted? Is it even possible? What about a receiver software mod?
A way to limit a wifi frequency spectrum on TX to run control + video in 2.4HGz frequency range?

No chance, the band is too small to have enough separation even if you could put each at one end of the band. Besides, er9x/opentx are only the "encoder" part, they do not have any direct control over the RF protocols.
BTW the original befi version is now highly outdated, see

I believe current efforts support RC uplink in some cases.
