Protocol Configuration in Firmware 220

Post by laffsj »

Sorry if I'm wrong but as I do not understand English I used a translator. I upgraded to firmware 220 my 9xr pro, with it I'm using the XJT module. In the protocol menu I'm left active only External Module and Proto XJT, in Type there is D16 and D8, which is correct to use with D8R-II plus receivers, can someone explain to me how it works and what is the difference between D16 and D8?

Thank's for help.

D8..
The D16 is actually the "x" protocol.
Mike. Maybe in erxky9x this could be changed as it always leads to confusion?
Perhaps just D and X, or D8 and X16?

The D protocol is the old one that supports for example only 8 channels..
The X protocol is th new one with a comoletely new telemetry system.. It supports 16 channels..
Your D8R-ll Plus receiver is a a D receiver..
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here ;)

Use D16 for 'X' type receivers (e.g. X8R, X6R, S6R).
Use D8 for 'D' type receivers (e.g. D8R, D4R).
