RX-F82DA DIY FrSky Receiver

Post by Sterling101 »

Has anyone tried these receivers at all?

Just had one land and have set it up and all seems to be working fine. Seems a little bit sensitive on the antenna positioning but then again it's literally just sat on a table with nothing to hold the antenna's in any orientation at the minute.
Other than that the Lipo voltage telemetry on A1 seems to work spot on and generally it seems quite stable with average RSSI of around 100 and TSSI around 75 at fairly close quarters.

If the weather allows I might throw it in a plane at the weekend and see how it fairs in the air but if anyone else has tried these I'd love to hear your experiences.

I've also received an RX-F802 (https://www.banggood.com/DIY-RX-F802-8C ... 89610.html) receiver but I've yet to test that. But I know that's pretty well covered on RcGroups so I'll get some reading up done there, just this RX-F82A supposed to be similar to the RX-F802 but with antenna diversity but being a fairly unknown Chinese knock off that's all over AliExpress I'm withholding judgement for now :D
