Create your 6 voice files with filenames of Fmode0.wav, Fmode1.wav ... Fmode5.wav.
Set up a voice alert with the trigger set to ALL and the switch set to Fmd (last option).
Set the file type to "name" and the filename to "Fmode0".

what panel to enter for the second step (...Set up a voice alert with the trigger set to ALL and the switch set to Fmd ..., I'm really lost .
Where to go from here.........

VoiceAudio, select VA1 (Voice Alert 1), then fill in the items I described.

Do you have the six voice files called Fmode0.wav to Fmode5.wav in the \voice\user directory on the SD card?
The actual name needs to be the same for all six, just having the digit at the end increasing by 1 each file, and the "Voice File" entry in the Voice Alert then needs to be the name of the first file.
Check the \voice\user directory, I see I have some files "Fltmode1.wav", "Fltmode2.wav" etc. in mine.

This is what I did.
STEP one - I stated some logical switches in the LOGICAL SWITCH panel , associating the position of three switch mode with the AIL switch position.
This is the setup of the logical switches...
STEP two - Go to VOICE ALERTS panel and enter the logical switches you set previously.
Now press the MENU button to go to the edit page and give the following value and the voice/alarm you want.
That's done.
If you want the names of the moving switches appearing on the screen go to the MODES panel from the MODEL SETUP screen and name the F1 ....F6 modes giving the name you want.

Good you have it working. I just tested using Fmd as the switch and ALL as the trigger and that worked fine, so I'm not sure why that didn't work for you.

Defining 6 logical switches using 2 & 3-way switches and then using them in the voice alerts is simple and clear. This is how I did it too using 6 of the named voice files from the voice package

Clearly this works. I added the "Fmd" switch in the voice alerts so that you don't need to define any logical switches to get the voice alerts. You may set two switches to enable a flight mode, then use the "Fmd" value with ALL for the voice. That way, if you change the switches that select the flight mode(s), then the voice alerts will not require changing.
As an alternative, you should be able to set up logical switches like:
v=val Fmd 2
which gives a logical switch that is on if Flight mode 2 is selected.

I verified, that it is working. And it is a really simple setup. Even though I had some problems to get it working. But only due to my faults.
You need only one single entry in the "Voice Alert" menu.
You only set the Switch field to "Fmd", the Trigger field to "All" and the name of the voice file to the name of flight mode 0 wav file, even if you have flight mode 0 not defined.
My failure at first was, that I set the source field instead of the switch field to "Fmd".
And the next problem was, in the VoiceFile field, I selected the lowest numbered available flight mode file (that, on my Tx was fltmode1.wav) and then it always played a wrong flight mode file, always one number higher than the selected flightmode was.

As I understand it, the "FMD" method requires that the voice files are sequentially numbered.
I need the voice to say "Stabilize", "Position Hold" etc. not simply "Flight Mode 1" etc. so that is why I prefer the method I have chosen which is to select the recognizable voice file name (e.g. MdPosHld) and associate it with L1-L6.

You can copy the files to another folder and change the file name
Then put back and replace the other files

As is often the case, there is more than one way to achieve the same end result, no one way is necessarily the "correct" way. Having recognisable filenames is clearly useful.
Using the logical switch setting like:
v=val Fmd 2
does mean the switches used to select the flight modes only need to be configured in the flight modes, so if you then want to change which switches are used, you don't then need to change the logical switches.
