9XR Pro and X8R bound but no servo movement

Post by Prowler901 »

Greetings All,

I've been using a TH9X and ER9X with eePe for years, but I'm new to the 9XR pro and the new Frsky XJT RX's. I've got the RX and TX bound, and I'm getting telemetry from the RX. But, I can't get any of the servos to respond. They all get power and center up when the battery is connected. There is a green light on the RX. But, no control of the servos. I'm not sure where to go next.

Thanks,
Todd

9XR Pro and X8R bound but no servo movement

So you’ve got an XJT module and are linking with an X8R receiver.
What version of ErSky9x?
Do you have XJT selected under Protocol, Type D16?

Hi,
I've got r220 installed. And, Protocol is XJT and type D16. And, I'm using eepeSky to program.

Check you have mixes configured for the first 4 channels, and that the bars move on the "bars" screen.
Did you bind using the "bind" option in the protocol menu?

Yes, channel mixes are configured and all the bars move correctly. I bound it using the FS button on the module and the receiver. I've also done it using the bind option in the protocol menu.

Well, I think I got it sorted. But, I'm not sure why. I just went through the binding procedure again through protocol menu. It seems to be working now. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Todd
