Gspd and Galt

Post by stilllearning »

Equipment:
DJI NAZA-M V2
FrSky D8R-II Plus
FrSky FBVS-01 Battery Voltage Sensor
Turnigy 9XR Pro
Frsky Telemetry & Head Track Module Extent Cable

I'm trying to understand how to set up a model to display the Gspd and Galt. I have the telemetry screens with the items showing but I obviously don't have them set up correctly to display the data. Could someone help me with some info to do this? Thanks!!

What Tx module are you using?

Sounds like you neither have a GPS sensor connected nor a Naza to FrSky bridge? How do you expect the data to reach the radio?

That's what I'm trying to determine. I posted my hardware hoping that someone would tell me specifically what I needed to make it work or if I needed to set up the radio differently. I'm new to this and just been lucky getting things to work so far. What other hardware do I need? Thanks!!

With your setup I'm not sure, you'll have to do some research. FrSky's GPS will only work with X series receivers, not with D series.

There are bridges that can take the info from the Naza and relay it to the receiver, but I don't have links or names at hand and they may also only work with smart port-equipped X series.

I hoped with the Naza GPS and telemetry cable I could get the data. Apparently not. I added a flight pack voltage sensor and I'm out of connection ports. I appreciate the help and suggestions.
