OpenLRSng won't bind - Flashing blue light instead of red

Post by Pedals2Paddles » Tue Jun 30, 2015 1:24 am

I have an OrangeRx OpenLRS TX module and receiver. It is flashed with OpenLRSng and has been working great. I needed to change some settings, but it required me to do a firmware update first. I flashed the latest firmware and it took the flash just fine on both. But of course it wiped everything out so now I need to bind and redo my settings.

I follow the steps and something isn't right. I hold the bind/fs button and power on the transmitter. The red warning light comes on. It beeps. I let go of the button. All the directions say the red warning light flash while it's beeping. Instead, it's flashing the blue light with the beeping. It will not bind to the receiver.

I've googled this up, down, and sideways to no avail. And I've reflashed it several times. What is going on?

I think it actually should flash blue light.

Did you use auto update or select board types manually. Bind problems are likely if you flashed wrong HW type.
