TGY9X/9Xtreme No value announcement

Post by Cub »

My 9Xtreme will announce "altitude,TX battery, RX battery and other stuff" but will not announce values like "354 feet, 9.6 TX voltage or RX voltage 4.8 volts." I downloaded the voice pack as advised on this forum. Any suggestions as how I can fix this issue? Any help shall be appreciated, Tom

Maybe you didn't install the voice pack properly..
You should just unzip the pack to the root directory of the SD Card.

You should have then a folder called "voice". Inside the voice you should have 3 folders. "system, user and modelNames".
When did you download the pack? You could have downloaded the wrong one.
Please download it again. I removed the old pack..

Thank you for your prompt reply. I had the tech at the computer repair shop download the voice pack for: Ersky9xv218andabove_v1.0zip last week. He put it right on my SD card. When I open "voice pack" I do have three folders inside, systems, user, and model names . I use the user folder to load voice messages into my TX. Here is what's loaded now: Altitude,Radio voltage,Receiver voltage, aileron and elevator high and low settings. All that works fine. Also all the telemetry information is displayed in the proper places in the telemetry and voice set-up screens. It just won't say "altitude 356 feet, Radio voltage 9.6 volts of Receiver voltage 4.8 volts. I flew my 9Xtreme for the first time today. All OK with radio stuff. It just won't talk to me.

Can you please download your radio's eeprom to the computer, zip it, and post it here so we can have a look at your settings? It would probably help to find the problem..

Thanks

Mr. Joao,I don't know how to download my radio's eeprom to my computer or zip it or post it for review. I am reluctant to ask this but could you possibly provide me how to do that? I do have the cable that hooks up the Tx to the Computer. Thank you for what ever assistance you may be able to provide..........Tom

You need eepskye to download your eeprom to the PC. Please watch the following videos.

After you saved your eeprom to the computer, and if you are running windows on your computer, you can right click on the file, and then select "Send To", and then "Compressed (Zipped) Folder". This will create a zip file with your eeprom inside that you can post here on this thread.
