Need help programming a Servo to operate in "rate" mode...

Post by subaru4wd »

I am not sure how to do this, but I know there has to be a way. I am using my Taranis to control a RC Crawler. What I would like to do is have the Aileron input control steering, but in "rate" mode so the steering does not center when the stick centers. I would like the steering to move left when my stick moves left, then remain in the position it is in when the stick is centered.

I would like to then have a three position switch set up so that I can toggle the switch to center the tires, or flip the switch down which would completely disable the custom setting and revert to default settings where the servo centers when the stick centers.

Can anyone help me figure out how to accomplish this? Im pretty good at taranis programming, but i think this might require some scripting which I am not familiar with at all.

Thanks in advance,
-Brian
