Correctly announce slider value

Post by hymanroth »

I'm using a slider to set my value of expo (GV1) and it works fine.
I've set up a logical switch (L1) which goes true when the slider's |d| > 5
I've set up a custom function to play the value of GV1 when L1 is true.

The problem is that the value that is announced is the first value that triggers L1
This means that if you move the slider by a large amount the announced value can be a fair way off from the actual value.

Does anybody know of a way to announce the final position of the slider?

Many thanks.

I had a similar problem. I was using GV's to set optimal mixes for early shake down flights (while flying.) I really only wanted the final readings. I made it announce every time the GV changed and then again 5 seconds later.
