Sorry for the slow response, I thought someone would chime in...then forgot about your request. I don't think I understand what you want, ... or else what you are asking for is not feasible. Re: Saving Trim Settings in Companion

Nothing that is done in the Simulator of Companion is saved. Try just deleting a a mix in the simulator then closing the Simulator and restarting it. The mix will still be there. Nothing done to the model definition gets changed after the compaion simulator section is closed. There is another Simula...

Yes.
A slider is just a pot like S1, S2...
So create 3 logical switches remembering that the pot has values -100 to +100.
Use thes logical switches to set the flap positions mixes and to call out via SF.

Why is the model set to 'Slave' if you are not using the radio as a student radio in a trainer setup'?

Set it to 'Master' and try.

Re: Flaps and subtrim

It is best to set the flaps mechanically to be neutral in the 'up' position of the switch. It can be done with weights but you are then using 1/2 of the servo possible motion and thus putting a heavier load on the servos. You do not say what firmware or transmitter you are using. If you insist on do...

I'm with you on doing setup, initial checking and fixes via a real keyboard/mouse/full size display and simulation on Companion. Companion is the reason that I started to think of trying OpenTX. I like the ability to see more of the big picture than my QX7 or X9D screens show. I had stayed with the ...

Re: Telemetry and OpenTx 2.3.4 Companion.

It is a known problem. The developers are concentrating on the tx side for safe flying for us and there are several new txs being supported. I believe that there is no developer that is concentrating solely on Companion. For this reason I am staying with 2.2.4. Unless you have a new tx with ACCESS t...

More information is required. What transmitter and receiver are you using? (Make and model.) What is the name and version number of the firmware on the transmitter? Do you have two channels, one for each stepper motor/DRV8825? It is not obvious to me that the DRV8825 would support a reverse function...

Wow, you are correct.
I have no idea what "Dock in Main Window" is supposed to do, but I doubt it is supposed to close Companion when it closes.
I think you uncovered a bug.

I checked out on X9D and QX7, and it behaves the same. It is not Jmpr T16 unique.

Terminology can really get in the way when talking one RC make transmitter to another, let alone to someone new to transmitters. These are test versions, but the only versions that supports new hardware that was not included in 2.3.2 or earlier.

Re: 9XR+DJT Module= SBus... did this work ?

That is not a FrSky receiver and may have some compatibility issues. There have been some problems associated with clone receivers. I think some have had either SBus or SPort problems reported. I do not believe FrSky makes a D8 rx with SBus. The D8 protocol is considered to be obsolete as far as new...

Yep, X9D vs X9D+ has been a problem for quite a few users. Now the X9D+2019 will make it even more confusing. X9D+2019 is indeed very new and only supported by RC3 Companion as it cannot be put in a profile by earlier Companion versions. Although I always make Companion and tx firmware the same vers...

A common problem is the downloading of firmware for the X9D instead of that for the X9D+. This will cause symptoms that sound like yours. Your post is a lttle confusing in that you talk about 2.3.RC4 and a successful flashing of 2.2.4. They are not the same. Recheck that your profile in Companion is...

Since that is the normal position, the throttle is cut unless you hold SHdown.

AR610 is a 6 channel Spektrum receiver. It has no Aux2. Aux2 is Channel 7 in Spektrum/JR terminology. (T,A,E,R, Gear=ch5, Aux1=ch6,Aux2=ch7,Aux3=ch8 and are JR/spektrum channel outputs.) For FrSky (in glittering generalities;-) 1. SBus is the channel information sent from the receivers to servos or ...
