Re: Sky9x Rotaty Encoder Option
I'm not as good at soldering as I wish.. It took me a while with those wires on the CPU pins :) You know when you think that your hand doesn't shake until you look thru the magnifier and see the tip of the iron moving 3 pins to each side :D and you think "How the heck am I going to make it stop...

Re: Sky9x Rotaty Encoder Option
yeah, I did fit mine using the pins, but had to trim the encoder board both sides and dremel one solder point a little bit also so the backlight would fit in between. Also did dremel the posts a little so the encoder could go out a bit more. it's working fine though.. next one I guess I'll do as you...

Re: Rotary encoder hardware options
And that can happen to anyone. Checked mine about 10 times before soldering and also checked with the multimeter that all was working. I think the way kaos did might be safer. the problem is to fix the board well. On mine I had to dremel the posts a little bit so the encoder could go a bit more out....

Re: Rotary encoder hardware options
I id the mod on my first radio.. it works great.. On my second one I will try Kaos's idea and not using the pins but screwing the encoder/board assembly to the case using the posts where the former plastic buttons were screwed before, and then connecting it with wires to the PCB. the problem is with...

Re: Sky9x Rotaty Encoder Option
Kaos, as you know I'm with the stock board. You might be right when you say that if the encoder goes bad or there's a bad connection we're a bit stuck.. that's right.. on my next radio I might do as you did, or similar. I see you used only 2 screws to hold the board with the encoder in place.. when ...

Re: ER9X - Channel "Slow" function
to be able to reach 125% you'll have to enable extended limits in the model's main menu.
with the extended limits active, 100% in the mix becomes the same as the maximum limit which is 125%
João
EDIT: I just saw your file and indeed you have the extended limits active..

Re: What is behind this black board?
There are also some good pictures of the cuts that have to be done on the traces on both sides of the board in order to free the two pins.. one of them (pin 2 I think) is grounded on both sides of that board and must be disconnected from it.. one of these traces is under the black material, so care ...

I've just generated an empty eeprom in eepe, flashed it to the tx, and still got the problem.. oh, loaded also er9x_frsky r776.. it says "meters" on startup.. Could a bad solder in one of the data wires cause this? I don't understand why it works on yours and not on mine.. could it be the ...

Mike, now I left the radio alone (off) for a while and when I turned it on it worked correctly with other model.. but then turned it off and on again and it did the same problem.. Do you think I should load a clean eeprom generated by eepe and then copy the models again into it? I mean export the mo...

Yes and No. I have code, that playing files in real device (Seeeduino v3) from real SD card. It can read .wav files LPCM 8/16bits 8-44kHz from FAT12/16/32. And I have the code of communication with er9x, working in Proteus. I simulate the signals from er9x by hands. Now I need to make real connecti...

ok, very weird stuff. copied the second memory to the first, and the first (easystar) to position number 8. then the position 8 works fine, and the first doesn't. it seems to be model related?? but this is the only model that works fine.. all the others don't, why? Also sometimes it says "meter...

Hey Oliver, you're using the atmega 328 with a 32 pin package.. can we use the one with DIP package (28 pins) ?
It would be rather difficult for normal people like me to build the board with that one.. I was thinking of using strip board for it..

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
Mike, my radio with the old module, is ok.. It doesn't do the problem. or if it does I never realised.. tried to make it do it yesterday but with no luck.. The radio with the new module does it all the time, except when I have the first model (first memory) loaded. then it plays the welcome message....
