Most LiPo chargers have a setting for the LiFe but if you dont have one, this will do. Personally I recommend you open the battery cover and charge the LiFe using the spare plug and balance plug. Does the turnigy version of 9x have a charging port? I downloaded a flysky? Manual and it mentioned a charging port, near the on off switch. If so, what is the size of charging port and details of charging circuit.

I use ubuntu linux and would test and use a .deb if available. I'm still in research phase so don't have any idea of the dependencies, whether different versions would be needed for different versions of ubuntu. Do imagine a 32 bit and 64 bit would be required.
