Space for the DHT in the battery bay?

I've noticed that when using a smaller form factor battery, I have lots of spare space in the battery bay. (I have a 2 cell Trustfire Lion.) With a little hack to the battery bay, and with a smaller battery, would that be an option? *******************************************************************...

DHT DYI mod, easy soldering?

Putting the DHT dyi in there, would that be really easy soldering, onto big soldering points(?), I would try it, but if it's that really fine soldering, forget it (for me).

Re: 9XR Pro is Here

yeah, it would be a real shame if the 9XR/PRO and skyboard users all got left out of the Model Wizard, for the sake of a few ram, and a little "un-fair"..... EDIT: For the last 15 years I have, until recently been working Psion/Teklogix/Motorola customizing Visual Basic Script for Wireless...

32k of RAM might prove just fine

"32k of RAM might prove just fine"????? http://wiki.eluaproject.net/FAQ#minimumrequirements What are the minimum requirements for eLua? It's hard to give a precise answer to this, because this is not only dependable on the footprint of eLua or it's resource requirements but on the final us...

Re: 9XR Pro is Here

I was reading somewhere else, someone saying it needs 120kb of flash memory. Can't that be "released" once you are finished running the wizard?

Re: 9XR Pro is Here

Lua won't run on 9XR-PRO, because of RAM requirements. This wizard can be implemented, but hardcoded in C++, less fun :( OpenTx seems to be using LUA for other purposes besides the Model Wizard. Would Lua be a bit overkill for just showing a few bitmaps, and asking a few questions? Maybe the Model ...

Re: 9XR Pro is Here

They seem quite quite deeply committed to replicating the Spektrum system including its drawbacks, telemetry being one. I see their reasoning: our club of 100+ members in North Vancouver, I know of only 2 others with Turnigy Tx's, the rest are Spectrum/Dsm/Orangerx. The 9XR-Pro running DSM with dec...

Incarnation of OrangeRX Telemetry? What exactly?

Nope. DSM is not ACCST. It will support telemetry - but of its own incarnation. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk For some of us, a big question is: what exact "incarnation" will the OrangeRX Telemetry be? - fully Spectum? requiring the TM1000 Telemetry Module?? - or a borrowed recipe ...

Then we have a DSM2/X module that supports telemetry coming

Will the OpenXVario easily work with the following, DSM2/X with Telemetry? "Then we have a DSM2/X module that supports telemetry coming". Of course we would prefer an internal connection, but even the XJT doesn't send the DJT telemetry over the SPort pin, and certainly not in DJT format. Y...

HOW TO FIX THE STUCK 9X TRIM BUTTON, TRIM STICKING ISSUE

Here's how I fixed my stuck trim button. It would not move or click at all. My solution was to flip the inner toggle around 180 degrees. It was a better fit. Put it all back together. Works just great now. Neither the toggle nor the out part is straight. Flipping the toggle around was a way better f...

? Is Dublin, Ireland mode 1 or mode 2 ??

Hi Guys,
I'm planning on buying a 9XR for a family member in Dublin, Ireland. (I'm in Vancouver, Canada).

Could you guys tell me if Dublin is mode1 or mode2?

Mode1 being throttle on the right.
Mode2 being throttle on the left.

Thanks guys!!!

test.jpg hi, question here: hey, instead of soldering the little wire to the bottom of the resistor, can I instead solder the end to the point in the attached pic? 2 Stage Flaperons with Slow Up and Down

2 Stage Flaps with Slow.eepe
(1.57 KiB) Downloaded 971 times

Note: you can only put 1 mix with slow on a single channel, otherwise it won't really work properly. That is due to the math algorithim used.
Also notice the use of HALF in channel CH09.

Works Great!!

However, this only works as long as you only have one Slow or Delay in per Channel, as explained in the thread below: http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=579&p=7254#p7254 Re: Help with trimable flaps Postby gohsthb » Wed Mar 28, 2012 10:25 am Because of the way the mixer is pr...

2 Stage Flaperons with Delays on Switch ID1 and ID2 Finally

2 Stage Flaperons with Delays between all Flaps and no Flaps: Switch ID0 is no Flaps. Works great, delays work great from all positions!!!!!! Here's how I got it working: CH01 +100%AIL +100%CH9 Slow(u5:d5) CH02 -100%AIL +100%CH9 Slow(u5:d5) CH09 +50%HALF Switch(ID1) +75%HALF Switch(ID1)
