Soldered it to the far end, where the link between the two batteries is.

Re: DSM2 work
Here is a version that lets you set the frame length by using the PPM Frame length adjustment in the setup screen. I changed it so you can make the adjustments in 0.1 msec increments instead of 0.5 msec. AR6110 works from about 19 to about 23 msec. MCPx doesn't like it much over 22 msec, but looks ...

Re: Safer Power Plug
I did mine this way to give balance charging with the batteries in place,
and fitted the programming socket where the charging socket was.
Had to isolate one ground pin on the pcb, used as 3.7v tap now

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
"There is a 1N4002 diode as reverse polarity protection , and a 1/2 ohm resistor in the power line ... Resistor should smoke out and open if there is a reverse polarity. One worry is that some of these batteries , can deliver 100's of AMPs in a short circuit , This could vapourize the diode jun...

I would vote yes to that, since all functions appear to work perfectly!MikeB wrote:Are we at a point where Pat's latest code update should be put on as the latest revision of er9x? It seems like it is quite reliable. It can always be tweaked further later.

Re: DSM2 work
Pat, I didn't explain the throttle problem very well, in fact I don't think it will be a problem when the frsy version is done. It is only that with the same eeprom, (with throttle hold) the first fix allowed the motor on my MCPx to run, the last update "held" the throttle closed. Removing...

Re: DSM2 work
Pat, MCPx binds fine in both DSMx and DSM2, but I don't seem to have a throttle control anymore, pitch is ok. Using FRSKY version originally, so get "switch error" on switch on of course. P.S. scrapped the throttle hold and all is well! It's a detail I'm sure..with the first version T/H wo...

Re: DSM2 work
I've implemented my proposed changes, to add the two extra interrupt routines, on my test setup. The output signal on the 'scope looks really good, 14 bytes packed end to end every 20 mS. I don't have s DSM2 setup, so I will post a version for others to test. Which version does anyone need? Standar...
