I have "erskyTx for Taranis" on my Taranis x9d and I use "eepskye for Windows" and I like it a lot and have no troubles.
You would use "eepskye for MAC".
If you think you would like to try it, find it here: http://www.er9x.com/

Because the print-bed surface is weak from side to side, and can be easily tipping down with very light pressure especially when printing large tall parts, this upgrade fixes this trouble. Linear Rails Y axis MGN12H_e.jpg I purchased this kit through Amazon "JS 1set CR-10S Light Weight MGN12H L...

Opentx is not supported anymore for a very long time now.
er9x is still supported and so is up to date and works a lot better then the very old Opentx for your 9x radio.
Glad you have your 9x working properly !

"switch problem" Sounds like maybe Calibration is not correct yet.
Some times you need to try doing it several times.
Do you have the "Calibration" procedure ?

Re: Bad Eeprom error. 9xtreme/encoder.
Suggest, maybe it could be a hardware problem. If you have a bad switch or a bad chip it could be causing the troubles. Many years ago I had a new 9x that bricked when programing it and later found the selecting switches were corroded. After replacing several of the selecting switches, it worked OK.

In the Simplify-3D slicer program you can now quickly edit the Supports you do not want after Simplify-3D has auto apply hundreds of unwanted supports. See the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiZdsH0RuBI&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR14roJxNoxAvbGj8wSp3PBkrPLHkiRZ1tSGEqoSq9PDNUTDcT...

If you have any troubles ask for help, but I think you will have none as it runs very very well !
Use eepSkye on your computer instead of er9x.
