Three months on and I'm still struggling with this conundrum. Apparently, OpenTx 2.2.X doesn't implement the parameters per the screen shots I previously posted from the Painless360 vid. And no-one appears to have an answer for this in 2.2.X

Quite frustrating

I've taken screenshots from the vid. In the vid CH3 is THR and SG is the switch. 3 lines of programming compared to one in Ersky9X.

I've previously been using Ersky9X on my Taranis. There is a menu screen Safety Switches where it's an easy entry to enable a throttle cut that not only disables the throttle but also won't allow it to arm unless the THR stick is in the fully down position. I uninstalled the SIM from the PC then reinstalled it. Went into the radio Model > Protocol and set it to PPM 8 channels and changed Polarity to NEG. I also went into General menu and enabled Trainer. Not sure if the latter had any affect but it's all working now

Getting the servo arm in this position is at the point where the barrel in the carb is just starting to open i.e. tick over.

Quick Question about the Radio Setup > Trainer screen. In ersky9x I've noticed that next to "Trainer" there is a number that can be changed from 0 to 3. I can't find anything about this in the manual? Has it got something to do with how the slave is setup for different students?

Just an update. I didn't hear back from Frsky tech support so I've flahed the none LBT version of the 161214 FW. Bench testing confirms my none LBT Rx's are binding with the Tx as expected.

Changing the Filter ADC setting to OSMP calmed the jittering down but SL still jitters but only in its mid position. There doesn't appear to be any slop when it centres. In the Radio Setup > DiagAna screen I can see SL as A7 and where its fast jittering between 0.0 and -0.3. SR is A5 and locked soli...

Yes, it starts in bootloader mode. I've created a new EEPROM .bin file in eePeSKY and tried to burn it to the new Taranis in the hope that it would fix things but I get an operation failed message.

I've got a new Taranis Plus and flashed ERSky9X without a problem. Everything was working fine. So I got my old Taranis (not Plus) and read my models from it to a .bin file using eePeSky. Yes, my older Taranis has a sticker in the same place with the date (2014). I've emailed FrSky support with the serial number and bar code number. It'll be interesting to see if I get a reply. I'll give it a few days and if I don't get a reply I'll flash the older FW version.
