Re: SKY9x Ver 3.0

Talking about using other manufacturers parts to upgrade a tx or to build your own, can these Jeti gimbals with hall effect sensors be interfaced with the ErSky 9x board? See half way down the page:

Re: SKY9x Ver 3.0

To those of you who are thinking of making your own transmitter I can help you with the concept, planning, moulding and execution of the case. I have just completed assembly of my tray radio using the Rev B board, parts from a JR 388, and a case which I moulded myself. A warning: there is a lot of w...

Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area

Hi , you dont have to use the two spare connections in the DIN connector for the telemetry, they can be used for what ever you like, I provided a 3 pin connector so it will plug into the 3 pin telemetry header , but you do not need to use it. A servo extension cable will plug into the telemetry hea...

Re: FrSky Telemetry with Er9x; short explanation

The 'drift' you refer to is probably due to the scaling sometimes having more than one setting resulting in the same displayed value. Suppose you have a 4:1 divder, this means the maximum voltage you can measure is 13.2 volts (4*3.3), so the scaling factor would be set to 132. Now, suppose the volt...

Re: FrSky Telemetry with Er9x; short explanation

Thought I'd fixed that A2 display on the third screen. Mike. I'll check that I've got the latest FrSky NOHT firmware later today. Mutchy Sorry All. I had the older version of the firmware. I have updated the firmware and the A2 display is now correct on the third screen. I will now edit the above p...

FrSky Telemetry with Er9x; short explanation

This post describes the Er9x FrSky NOHT firmware when used to display Rx Battery Voltage, Pack Voltage and Altitude when using the Winged Shadow "How High" sensor. This version of ER9x has no Helicopter firmware and no templates. This save space in the ATMEGA chip for the telemetry firmwar...

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

Thanks for your prompt reply, Mike. I understand much better now what you did when doing the programming. I have set the HowHigh to feet. As you say , the resolution is better. It is also better for electric glider pilots because there is a dramatic increase in penalty for exceeding 200 feet on laun...

Re: Antenna placement.

Just remember, the receiver antenna also comes into play. Generally every 3dB in RF terms is double, but double signal does not translate to double distance. The antenna labeling refers to receive gain, and a better antenna does not increase the power from the module. SNIP........ If however you us...

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

Need to find time to updae the manual! One of the telemetry display screens shows the A1 and A2 values, together with their minimum and maximum values. If the type is set to A (for Amps), then the min value is replaced by mAh used. When this screen is displayed, and you press and hold the MENU key,...
