Re: Radio Menu only has 9 pages instead of 13 (and do Display page)
Did you use the same radio profile in Companion and hence the same firmware file for both radios?
Or
Did each radio have its own radio profile in Companion and hence a different firmware file?

Re: original taranis firmware 1.something.
With any firmware change make sure you do a backup using companion. “Read/Write” menu: Backup Radio to File: Read the EEPROM contents (model and transmitter settings) from the transmitter directly into a file. This is the preferred way to backup the transmitter and model settings as it will be saved...

OpenTX D16 Bind Options
In RF D16 mode 16 channels are transmitted if the channel range is set to 1-16. The bind option determines if the servo pins are mapped to the first 8 channels or the second 8 channels. Further it also determines if telemetry from the receiver is turned on or off. This is useful when using two recei...

Re: OpenTX 2.2.1 wireless teacher-student over serial port-SBUS does not work
My understanding is that he is saying:
His setup works with 2.2.0 but does not work with 2.2.1.
External module bay occupied by the multi-module so he does not use it for wireless training.
He uses the battery bay serial port for sbus wireless training. This works under 2.2.0 but not under 2.2.1.

Quad Race Start Sequence – GoRace OpenTX Lua Script
This script mimics the start sequence for quad racing. Pilots get their quads ready on the start line. They then return to their seats and get ready to race. The race official tells them to arm their quads and then after a random delay sounds a start buzzer. To use the script: * The pilot activates ...

Re: OpenTX 2.1 telemetry system preview
With the TBS Crossfire system theres no GSpd sensor provided, only GPS and Altitude which is why I was wondering. Maybe its just so they can try to get people to buy their whole system to get the extra 'features' A GPS script may work for you. All it needs is the sport sensor name as it appears on ...

Re: Automatic reboot while flying with a QX7
The next version of OpenTX 2.2.1 will have a shutdown warning if rx is connected. An audio alert and a screen prompt that one has to clear by pressing enter to complete shutdown. This is optional and can be configured on the radio menu setup screen.

See

Where is says “Trainer Port” select the “Master/CPPM Module” Trainer Mode
Use Master/Jack or Slave/Jack
The rest of the instruction should generalize... if not let me know and I'll have to write a new guide...

Re: Can LUA detect if reset flight has occurred?
Not directly.
I had to monitor Telemetry values to figure it out.
For example
Gps pilot location only changes when a reset is done
So if prev not = current gps pilot lat or long
Reset has occurred

Re: Granular RPM Control (Open/Closed Loop?)
You can use lua scripts. Might be overkill but it is an option. Some examples are here http://rcdiy.ca Developer Manual https://opentx.gitbooks.io/opentx-2-2-lua-reference-guide/content/ It was mentioned to me that quality of ESC effects how steady the RPM readings will be. I do not know much about ...

Re: Lua scripts: blinking lines and aligning text
There has been talk of having the option to have the Taranis go straight to the Telemetry screen. https://github.com/opentx/opentx/issues/5156 If that is implemented you may want to have the model name show up on that screen.... Maybe show name and disappear after a few seconds if you don't have spa...
