Re: Spontaneous reboot while flying and hanging shutdown iss

Just to say a big thankyou, Mike for all your time and effort in sorting this one.
Although I haven't had a reboot so far with my sky9x's it might just have been
a matter of time!
What a nasty bug to crack (I imagine)
You are so much appreciated here :D

Re: Search for Replacement 9x Potentiometers!

The conductive paint sounds a good idea, until you try to do it! You have to be extremely accurate, and the paint itself has resistance, not predictable. I spent hours trying to get it right on a modified DX5e and gave up in the end. I suspect the pots from a Spektrum DX5e or 4e would do the job IF ...

Re: Er9x128

Don't ask me why, but this one works with my m128, after it's 220 ohm resistors were shorted out

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400332124311? ... 1439.l2649

And yes, it is strange how the mySmart is fine with the m64 :o

That one cost me about £20 :x

Re: Er9x128

João - I take it that you haven't replaced the 'faulty' M128 yet? Was about to give up, I was using MySartUSB light. Then tried the cheapo ebay one (after shorting out it's 220 ohm resistors) and bingo :P it worked! Now that you have it working. Can you now use your MySartUSB with the M128? Nope! I...

Re: Er9x128

Ok guys.. not very good news.. connected pin 1 and SCK pin of the m128 to ground. then grounded sck from programmer through a 100 ohm resistor.. powered the board. connected programmer. tried to reset the fuses using -B 100 in companion.. nothing connection failed.. as always :( Did I do it right??...

FAS-100/FAS40

Just got myself an FAS-40.(Looks like they fitted the right resistors(!) as it reads exactly the same as my FAS-100, both voltage and current are correct. I don't think there is a way to set a low voltage alarm? I'm not using the hub. Thanks, Clive PS, sorted it now with custom switch. Easy really :...

That's weird then. setting 0-5 has no effect on haptic strength with me.

What am I forgetting to do? Can you turn yours off?

With V3.0 board, ver 145, I find the haptic level is not controlled in the menu.
It works, it just isn't controllable. unless I'm missing something?

Should I take them out while I'm fitting the encoder please?

9X manufacturing fault

Just found this on RCGroups:- "V15 of the 9x main PCB added various test pads. Five of these were added just below the 6-pin header, to the right of the flex cable termination. In adding a test pad to pin 1 (rightmost pin) of the header, the 1K resistor just below pin 1 is now being short-circu...

Re: Open9x and ersky9x question

I have no plans to ditch ersky9x. It's just slower on development as there are far fewer people working on it. Also it tends to work out that I do a lot of the low level driver coding, then the open9x people port the driver to open9x. While I'm doing the drivers, open9x is being developed, while er...
