Yes, feedback here, there are quite a lot of details that need sorting, at present I need to know if there are any major problems, e.g. unable to read/write the radio!

I've slipped the code change in, but need to test it and finish the other changes I'm doing before it is released.

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
I think there is something not quite right. I've spent some time monitoring the serial data from the TEZ board. I'm graphing the last 200 height values received, and also I have a 'packet capture' set up where any user data packet longer than 12 bytes is displayed. Slightly odd as it isn't just look...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
I have a bit of a problem. I'm testing a new Vario from FrSky so the telemetry is only sending a small amount of user data, no hub is involved. I have two stock transmitters, one with a TelemetrEZ board and one without. The one without, together with my ersky9x system work fine, but on the one with ...

Re: 6 Pos 2 Pole Rotary Switch with LED's for Mode Selection
I'll look into changing the calibration. For the sticks, the centre position is important, but for the pots it isn't. I've seen that Bertrand has a change for the pots where centre position for the pots is simply calculated from the two end positions. This seems a better way of handling the pots, an...

Strange, I can't think of a reason for this to happen.
Can you try r778 and r779?
This might help work out what might be wrong.

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
er9x automatically 'sees' the data from the TelemetrEZ board and uses it. A different version of er9x is not needed.

Re: ER9x and Spektrum DX8 trainer 20% jump
The signal between to two transmitters is PPM. For each channel, a pulse is sent, that, for most radios, varies between 1000uS and 2000uS, with 1500uS being the centre. Spektrum are probably using 1400uS as the centre. Try changing the mixes on each channel to have a weight of 80% and an offset of -...

If you are powering the board from the USB, then the MENU button doesn't work. It is on one of the programming signals and the programmer overrides the button. Just up and left of the processor is the 5 volt regulator, marked 78L05, I can see its markings on you picture. The 3 pins at the bottom are...
Re: eepSKYe
It is only for the sky board. I'd like it to do both, but that will need quite a bit more time. I decided to do the simple thing first, while I got to grips with the program sturcture and QT creator. Possibly, having an er9x import function might be sufficient.

Re: Has The Site Slowed Down?
I had some problems in the past due to my broadband line dropping out frequently. I got in the habit of marking all my test and doing a CTRL-C just before the submit. Then, if it failed, I could easily paste it all back in. You might also find using the BACK button on your browser might get you back...

Check your CONTRAST setting in companion9x. If the value is too low, the screen remains blank.

Should be no problem, I use 8 LSD NiMh cells. I charge at 700mA, and set my low voltage alarm to 9.5V.
Make sure you calibrate the voltage measurement!

Can you post your entire EEPROM file. The general settings inclue the mode and default channel order, and these are neede to check your model setup.

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.
The LM358 does not work well from a 5 volt supply, it cannot drive its output high well.
I would suggest using a MCP602, a CMOS rail-torail op-amp, same pinout. Also, as it is CMOS, it uses less current, and has much lower input loading, so you could use higher value resistors.

Re: missing the model template menu in er9x
Nothing. The NT in the Mod: line indicates No Templates. Due to limitations of the flash memory size, the templates option does not exist in the FrSky version of er9x. If you need to use a template, use eepe, they are in there. Using eepe, read the EEPROM memory from you radio, apply the template as...

I have changed quite a few things in eepe, and added the er9x-128.hex to thie list. I may have messed something up as I'm still finding my way round eepe code! I just tried it and see it is a bit odd. Try running eepe, and choose the preferences you want, click OK and then exit eepe. Now run eepe ag...

You might as well install the most recent version of ersky9x (r159). Companion9X handles this quite well as far as I can tell. I'm working on a version of eepe for ersky9x, but I need time to get it up and running. Run companion, making sure you have ersky9x selected in the prefeencies, and it shoul...

I'm not sure what we can do on the stock board, it doesn't have the same amount of hardware (e.g. timers) or RAM or processor power. I don't think we can really increase the number of channels, but I might be able to do something about the starting channels when PPM16 is selected. I don't think we c...

Add to one throttle channel
-10%P1 Curve (x>0)
to the other
+10%P1 Curve(x<0)
Turning P1 either side of centre will back off onbe or the other throttle channels by up to 10% (The 10% weight in the mixes).
