The X7 trainer input is to the base of a transistor (via resistors) and requires a positive voltage (>1 volt) to make it work.

Re: ErskyTx on X20
I'll check, it is quite possible that ETHOS has now become larger than the space allowed by erskyTx. I can easily build erskyTx to give ETHOS more space. If you updated ETHOS using Suite, it will remove the dual boot bit added when building the composite file. Mike Edit: Size is OK, but you need to ...

In the video, I see the time time taken to complete the binding. What is the rest of the video showing? I don't have any AFHDS2A hardware and therefore don't understand what all the beeps mean!

Re: MasterRadio TX16S
I added something to make the binding operation timeout (after about a minute!). It looks like this may have upset detecting the MPM reporting bind has completed when it occurs. It may, however, detect the bind completing after 56 seconds. Please could you try binding, but wait at least a minute aft...

Re: MasterRadio TX16S
I'm not sure what the problem might be. I don't have any Flysky2A receivers to test with, but I tested an original Flysky receiver and that binds and a DSMX receiver also binds correctly with the Tx seeing the DSM bind response. So I believe communication with the MPM is working correctly. I current...

Probably two mixes on the channel:
CH4 +100% Rud
CH4 R +30% Rud switch(ELE)
Note that the second mix is a "Replace" mix

Re: Turnigy 9X Upgrading to the ATmega128 CPU Chip
Posted on behalf of TheCirodi: Is it possible to set a conditional limit on a mix? Let's say that I have rudder on channel 4 and that I would limit it as servo excursion to a certain amount (eg. 30%) if a switch is not triggered (eg.Idle up switch is in position 0) and 100% if is triggered (idle up ...

Re: ErskyTx on X20
Good, looks like I now know what I need to do for FCC/EU-LBT. I'll do a r18 with the snooping removed. The default channel order (used when creating a new model or applying a template) is set in "Radio Setup|Controls". If you change it to AETR, then apply the "Simple 4-CH" templa...

Re: ErskyTx on X20
This might sort the problem. It seems I hit a FCC/EU-LBT problem. I probably need to do something better than here in 17d, but this should work (Now removed as r18 released). In the protocol menu, when you select ACCST, there is an entry for "Country". This now selects between FCC and EULB...

Re: ErskyTx on X20
This should fix the problem of Ethos not running (Now removed as r18 released). Check the next post! What do you get fro the HW and FW versions of the internal module? Mine reports: TD-ISRM HW:1.4.0 FW:2.2.2 (EU-LBT). I may need to improve the snooping! Are you still running Ethos 1.4.8 FCC? I will ...

Re: ErskyTx on X20
Try this "17b" (Now removed as r18 released). It still does the "snooping", but, hopefully, it should detect the board type correctly and power the internal module correctly. The Debug menu has an extra line with information from erskyTx as well as the snooping data from Ethos. I...

Re: ErskyTx on X20
I've found a small bug that may explain the problem and I also understand more about how to detect the board type. I think erskyTx on your X20S is making the wrong decision on the board type, and then failing to enable power to the internal module correctly. I'm working on the corrections and hope t...

Re: ErskyTx on X20
I can't see any reason for the "snooping" not to work (I've checked 1.4.8 should be OK). Please could you repeat building the composite file (and flash it), knowing you have 17a running. At step 4, the top few lines on the display should be blank and then, when you use the encoder button o...

Re: ErskyTx on X20
Looks basically correct. There is likely something I don't know about the X20S hardware. I've built a special version of erskyTx hat manages to "snoop" on certain things while Ethos is running. If you would be so good as to follow the following I should get some very useful information. At...

Please could you create a "raw log file" of the data being received, instructions here: viewtopic.php?p=155729&hilit=raw#p155729. Zip the file up and post it for me to look at.

Nothing special. If you have the module bound, then if you swap back to erskyTx it should control the servos without needing to bind again (make sure you have the same RxNum set as Ethos). There are two, different hardware builds (at least) of the X20, and the signal that turns the power on to the m...
