Re: ERSKY9X Coding

0x00042000 instead of 0x0002A000.

I have the fix, I hope to commit it later tonight.

Re: Clear settings

The current revision is 801, (1170-Mike), so you have quite an old version it seems.

Re: Clear settings

No easy way to clear all settings. What is not working? In the RADIO SETUP menu you have the TRE012AG, you should be able to move left and right througn this and then press MENU to flip the selected switch setting. What revision of er9x are you using? There was the odd revision where this didn't wor...

Reading from the radio is OK as I read the extra data which should be blank.

Re: No telemetry info after installing telemetrEZ

SM: No, there isn't a special FrSky version for the TeZ board, just the standard FrSky version, it automatically detects the TeZ board and uses it. 1. Do the THR and AIL switches work? 2. Are you just looking for the A1 and A2 values? They will need to be configured in the Telemetry menu. 3. You sho...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Eepskye is also updated, although there might be a problem with saved files, just been pointed out, I need to check.
C9X may be OK as I think it might read all the EEPROM, not sure.

I'll have a look, I just increased the number of model memories to 32, so the EEPROM size has changed. I probably missed this.

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ

Which software do you have on the 9X er9x?
Do you know if your hub is V1 or V2 firmware?
What was the 'normal' value you were getting on T2, and what was the 'abnormal' value. I've seen odd jumps in values on altitude and GPS speed. It might help locate the problem if we know the values.

Re: Er9x EEPROM change

Each mix would get 2 bytes larger, so we would use 64 bytes of RAM, and may use more EEPROM depending on how many mixes have slow/dely set. Not sure about the flash use, it might get less as the 4-bit values need extra code to access them. We have a v2 sub-directory on the repository, so I may make ...

Re: Help !!

While it is going wrong, can you cool the processor? Maybe just use a damp finger on it, best is proper freezer spray. This can 'prove' it is a processor problem.

Re: Er9x EEPROM change

Need to think on that. Currently we have 4 bits for each of delay up/down and slow up/down, 2 bytes, in every mix. each 4-bits represents whole seconds 0-15. Options: 1. Do nothing! 2. A single flag that changes the scales of all 4 item to (say) 0-3.0 seconds in steps 0f 0.2 seconds. 3. Two flags, 1...

Re: Help !!

I'm afraid I'm suspecting a bad processor. The first 64 bytes of the EEPROM contain control and directory information for the EEPROM file system. Your eelowmem dump shows some of these locations now read as the data that was in locations addressed as 64 higher in the er9xbadee file. THere are severa...

Re: er9x development

I think I have code that will put a box round the limits if they are being modified by the auto limits settings (auto limit not zero AND sub-trim not zero).
This at least highights that they are modified.

Re: Help !!

In er9x, that message only appears when the program starts, so it seems you Tx has re-booted and then found the problem. We need to find out why your Tx re-booted. It may help if, when you have this problem and the "Bad eeprom data" alert appears, don't press any keys, but connect the prog...

Re: er9x development

The dual rate can be set differently for each side, like expo, so this would adjust the stick input rather than the mix weight, but may be suitable when a stick is only used on a single mix.

If you don't like the auto limits then leave the auto limits value at 0 (the default) then the sub-trim has no effect on the limits. One of the problems with the limits is they are also the "End Point Adjust" values. A number of users have complained that when they have a sub-trim value th...

Re: Replace 5V regulator

What Skynorth does is use a 5V switching pre-regulator, then s 3.3V linear regulator for the ARM processor. Depending on the battery you are using, you could try a 7V switching pre-regulator then a 5V linear one.

Re: [truck] Trying to figure a 3-way switch from a 2-switch

Basically you need to use some CUSTOM SWITCHES. These are logical switches (not physical) that have many possible configurations.
Try:
CS1: AND !AIL !TRN
CS2: AND AIL !TRN

then you use SW1 and SW2 to control a mix.

Re: Replace 5V regulator

Max junction temp 125C. Thermal resistance 164C/W. If you assume an ambient temp. of 50C (Tx left in the sun!), you should only allow about 0.45W of power dissipation. If the battery voltage is 10V, then the current should be limited to around 90mA, so although it is rated at a higher current then t...
