Re: Which is the latest firmware for Turnigy 9XR PRO?

Any script that is BASIC (file extension .bas) is specifically for erskyTx.

Re: Which is the latest firmware for Turnigy 9XR PRO?

Some BASIC scripts are here: https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10668 . An INAV script is also in the thread somewhere. Check here if you are running ELRS V3: https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=157004#p157004 . erskyTxP12r224.zip should be fine, and includes the ability to di...

1a. Yes.
1b. Many improvements and additions (including voice alerts).
2a. If starting from scratch, probably try: viewtopic.php?t=6831.
3a. Many telemetry mods here: https://github.com/MikeBland/mbtx.
3b. MPM works fine, both control and telemetry.

Re: MasterRadio TX16S

The display resolution is 480 wide by 272 high. At present, I detect the "back" arrow being touched less than 55 horizontally and less then 50 vertically, a larger area than the actual arrow image. I first tested this on a FrSky X20 that has a flat area around the screen so it is easier to...

I've just posted r15. This adds processing for telemetry from the ESC: RPM Voltage (FASV) Current (Amps) BEC temperaure (TEMP2) BEC current (SBCA) BEC voltage (SBCV) Also AccX, AccY and AccZ may be logged (should already be processed). I've also made the telemetry items display in alphabetical order...

Re: Exponential servo operation?

Two possibilities:
1. Set up EXPO on the rudder stick in the EXPO/D.RATE menu.
2. Set EXPO (positive only available) in a mix. You choose between a CURV(e), DIFF(erential), and EXPO, then set the amount of EXPO you required on that mix.

Re: Adjust or trim FasV

In erskyTx, in the telemetry menu, there is an option to adjust he offset of the FasV value, up to a maximum of 1.5V. This is to remove a voltage value when it should be 0V. erskyTx also has "Scalers", the can take any telemetry value and scale it, with an offset, to any other range. You w...

I'm working through all the menus. Those with the "Exit" arrow at the top left corner have been re-written. Others with the "Exit" button at the top right have not yet been done.
On a menu with a scroll bar, you may drag the scroll bar to move quickly through the menu.

Re: New gimbals for old 9x

Mechanically, I don't know if they will fit. Hall sensor gimbals have usually one of two types of output, analog or PWM. Electrically, the gimbals connect to analog inputs on the 9Xtreme board. The particular inputs used cannot be set up for PWM signals as they cannot be configured as timer inputs, ...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

V1-V6 are individual cell voltages from a FrSky FLVSS. You may use a script to display an alternative screen on a custom telemetry display. I've attached one for INAV that was done in 2018, see if it is suitable. For changing from kts to kms/h, I suggest you use a Scaler. These take any telemetry va...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

Due to a lack of enough hardware timers on the Atmel processor, I'm using a PWM channel to provide the timing for sending the data. I was using a default high time of 2.5mS and a period as required for the requested rate. For 500Hz, 2.5mS is clearly too long as the rate requires 2.0mS period. I chan...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

I'm not sure why it behaves like that. I can see from the log file that it isn't getting into synchronisation, as the 250Hz timing does.
The attached file may do that correctly.

I'm working on something to do with LUA scripts, so the file has got bigger!

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

There is probably a problem trying to run at 500Hz on the 'Pro, I think the timing I currently have doesn't support it and ends up defaulting to 32.768mS instead of 2mS.
I will have a look, but I don't have any Crossfire of ELRS hardware I can use to test any changes.

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

From the main screen, if you go UP LONG, then RIGHT to the STAT2 screen you can check the "Mixer Rate", it should show 500. If it does, then I would suspect the gimbals. If they only update every 33mS, then the filter option won't have any effect as all filtering will happen within the 33m...

I've just got a version of the openXsensor working using FrSky FPort1. I'll now see if I can get FBUS(FPort2) working as well. The downside is I've needed to make use of the hardware UART in order to read all the FPort/FBUS data (41 bytes) that is sent at 115200 baud. This means you are not able to ...
