Re: this may be a really good module/rx to hack

OK, that is certainly out of my league. ;) I saw there are 60 people looked at the pics (may be more in the future), hope some one will get interested in and try to do that. ;) I will use the module for the Multi project for now. The FW to communicate the rx must be located some here on the main boa...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

that should have no effect on this. I wired the tx/rx pin to the back of the module attaching to two metal pads before (in the tx I have spring loaded pins to receive tx/rx signal from telemetry in stock board or skyboard. with tx of no mod, those two pads is just sitting there at the bottom of the ...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Ok, I will do that when I get home, in the office now. what should I look for on the CAL numbers or just report the numbers back to you? Could the AR9X nonrs232 com2 has any effect on this phenomenon? Because I tried the same DJT and rx(D4R-II) at the same time with er9x/sky9x with older version FW ...

Any possibility to flash the rx to be used with DSM system? Is the DSM FW even available on the web somewhere? or using the orange rx fW?

this may be a really good module/rx to hack

recently I was working on Multiprotocol module and accidentally found a module from my old 'junk' tx has the CYRF chip in there that I can use. Some one told me it even has a T212 chip in there so it has really good range. So I dig out the rx that came with the old tx and opened it up. Surprisingly,...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Mike: there is something going on with FRsky and AR9X. I was testing the r218i with multi, Multi binds and got telemetry via com2(non rs232) fine. but when I use a DJT to compare telemetry hub data, I can get the telemetry data but servo goes crazy and ESC won't bind. I have tried the version that w...

ON AR9X board you can use the com2 without rs232 without an inverter. It is located left of the com2-r232.

Dbswans: under model setup ->General-> 3rd page last item or at first page 1st line use up button go straight to the last item of 3rd page. I know, er9x is getting so sophisticated, some times it is hard to dig out all the functions you want to find. I only remember those I use most.

Is it true now when a new model or lne of program is added, it is dfaulted to throttle trim as on?
I never used throttle trim(no nitro engine), but I don’t recall I need to change that before. Keep forgetting checking that one.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

There is no problem with the pot using the original pot's circuit, only the new enhanced function using AD8, AD10 for pots has this issue. I think it is just the limit of this circuit that you squeezed out of the AR9X board. Time is not all wasted, now we know the program will work flawles...

That is good info. Thx for sharing. I have been looking for stuff like this for a while. Found some thick sticky stuff very hard to do, not like these easy spray type. Mike: whatever this test version you did fixed all the issue for 5K pot, no interference on P4 in either AD8 or AD10 by throttle or P3. :) With my high impedance pot there is VERY slight influence on both AD8, AD10. I am uploading the video for that to show you including analog data in the video. I ...

The 5k pot i used to test was all by itself with 3 wires v,gnd,AD8 or10. Actually the 5k pot at both port had more influence by P3 or throttle than my rocker. With either pot, AD8 had more interference than AD10. I will use the FW jhsa sent to me to make a video to show you. That version is much bet...

revert my statement. Everything is OK only AD10. I just tested AD8. Both 5K and my rocker has some issue. My rocker is slightly affected by p3 but operating on its own no issue, only if I don't use rocker and move p3 there is slight movement on the ch8 servo. With a 5k pot. just in hardware set up m...
