Re: eepSKYe

Making some progress with using SAM-BA 2.12. I need to test some more, but I can now read the EEPROM OK with either 2.11 or 2.12. Should get this sorted soon. I look into the update checking. I need to see what mechanism is being used for the check. Mike. Mike, Still not able to get eepskye to dete...

Re: epeskye Quirks

Mike, Quite right, by default all curves are flat. When a model is set up curves are allocated for various functions, ie Throttle IDO, ID1, and ID2 are assigned curves 1,2 and 3, Whilst CH 11 curves 4,5 and 6. in C9x curve 6 is a graph but in eepskye that same curve 6 is still flat which create conf...

Re: eepSKYe

Is there a set of instructions anywhere indicating how to configure the application to communicate with a sky board? I think the latest release of eepe has eepskye embedded in it. just download and install, then go to the folder. Bith eepeskye and eepe should be present, just choose. Hope this helps.

epeskye Quirks

Mike, I have been playing around with eepskye lately, I quite like it, very fast boot time, running on sam-ba_2.11. It would be nice if you could tweak it work with sam-ba_2.12. Also is it possible to port the quick setup wizard from C9x to eepskye ?. There is a couple of small quirks with eepskye. ...

Re: eepSKYe

Mike, I've noticed a small difference between Eepskye and C9X. It may be insignificant and/or nothing to worry about but here goes. Curve 6 in C9X mixer menue is a graph ranging from "+100 to -100" but in eepskye it is a flat line "0 to 0". Is that significant ?. Will it affect p...

your choice.

I will replace that diode in due course. I am ordering it pronto, thanks.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

The leakage on the 1A diodes used in Rev B ,have a higher leakage than the one used in Rev 3 , this would most likely account for the battery drain. The diode that provides power to the Attiny , is leaking power through it when the radio is off. it would need to be replaced with a 200mA BAT42W , wh...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Worth checking your backup battery voltage. If you get the co-pro update warning, then it has found the co-processor OK, but with a revision earlier than 06. You can, of course, check this in the "VERSION" screen. I would say yes, re-insatll the tinyapp.bin, don't forget to set the addres...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

If you have had the clock running, there should be a bootloader (and TinyApp). Have you had a backup battery connected all the time? If so, the first step is to disconnect the backup battery, then switch the Tx on and see it the co-processor comes up. Mike. Removed backup battery. Switched on. Stra...

It's OK, you just don't have the co-processor running, so no real time clock. You will need to install a bootloader to get the co-processor running. Mike. Re: ERSKY9X Coding

How old is the Rev B board? Is it one of the first batch of 25? If so, the co-processor didn't have a bootloader in it. That would give the FF00 result. Mike. Check you didn't accidently change the stick mode. This could move the stick scroll to the 'other' stick, and your throttle was probably not in the middle. I had that happen to me, kept scrolling continuously. Mike. I tried it just now. Same as before. Stick mode . Random auto scroll as soon as you...

I've committed 'proper' revisions of ersky9x and the TinyApp. Ersky9x now pops up an alarm if the TinyApp is not up to date. This is a 'run time' alarm that does not stop the radio operating. Minor bug fixes included. Mike. Hi Mike, I just downloaded r-166 but I coul not see the new tinyapp. Is it ...

Re: Spontaneous reboot while flying and hanging shutdown iss

I've been testing without a backup battery so I didn't notice that. I'm afraid I think the 'Tiny was not going into power down mode when the Tx is switched off in 06, so this will have drained your backup battery a bit. I tried to give the I2C interface to the ARM priority while it is active. Unfor...
