Re: Esc power safety switch?
Of course this would need to be tested with the particular esc. I think you are right most modern escs won't arm unless there is a signal to it first. I think some testing will need to be done to make sure this works as planned. Install a switch in the signal line to the esc. Then with that switch o...

Re: Smart Trainer switch
The add feature is great when my club does air shows. We take people up on buddy boxes to let them try flying. They think they fly the whole time, but especially for the younger ones I do a lot of the flying.

Re: 9x with telemetry working: Data logging?
How are you with mechanical things? Maybe you can build a phone holder that holds your phone such that it videos the screen. At least then you could see the data, probably even make annotations by voice too.

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
The 10k and 20k resistors form a voltage divider to bring the 5V level from the Tez down to 3V that the BT module uses. 5*(22k/(10k+1k+22k)) = 3.33V I'm not familiar with all of the settings of the HC-05, I used an RN42. The radio is a device, so I think it should be a slave? You are able to pair wi...

Re: Rudder to Elevator and Rudder to Aileron Mixing?
Notice that one RUD weight is + and the other is -. If the ailerons don't go the correct direction for you then switch the signs. And no if you give left rudder the ailerons will cause a bank in one direction, let's call it right bank. So then if you give right rudder the ailerons will bank left. No...

Re: Confused about A1 display
for a 3S lipo it can never go below 9V (3V per cell). Start out setting the alarm around 10.5 volts. Then right after landing check the voltage. If it seems you can get more flight time then shift the alarm down some. You could also set 2 alarms. One at 10.5V and one lower at like 9.8. Kind of a &qu...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Maybe take a couple of pictures of the setup. From your description I don't see why it isn't working. Here are a couple of pictures of mine. The 10k resistor is covered by the yellow shrink wrap. (I know it looks like pin 18 and 19 are connected together, but that is just the angle of the picture. T...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
I was only asking about a rotary encoder because the Tez will auto detect if one is connected and start sending the frames for it to the 9x. All that the BT mod does is act as a gate. When a switch packet is sent to the 9x the gate gets closed and so those packets don't go to the BT module. The Frsk...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Update the latest stable version without adding the bt. And see if the page flipping goes away. The only way I could see the tez flipping pages would be if it thinks there is a rotary encoder. Make sure none of the contacts on the tez are touching and shorting.

Could you explain more where and how you are using multiwii code. I didn't understand that part. What is connected to the tez? Just blue tooth? Or do you have a rotary encoder connected as well?

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
R86 is the stable version. Is listed on the Google code page code.Google.com/p/9x-telemetrez.
If you are running another version would be worth upgrading. That could be why your bt isn't working.

Mike, many times people have said" why keep adding things to the m64 version". However, you seem to keep finding space in there. I would say keep finding space if possible in the m64. Just lower the priority as bit, and concentrate on the more capable boards. -Gohst Sent from my LG-D801 us...

Re: PPM to PWM
And likely the receiver you are using will have fail safe. So if you do lose the radio link that will send the proper pulses. I see this a little different. I might make a tiny 25 that can have 4 outputs. Then you could put one or 2 in the wing, and have less cables to run. -Gohst Sent from my LG-D8...

Re: SUPER save throttle cutoff??
For my helis I use the template for sticky throttle cut. Then I make a little modification to the custom switches. For switch SWB, which is "v<ofs THR -99" I add in the AND column ID0. If you have ID0 set as your normal, or startup, mode then this prevents your throttle from getting enable...

Re: 3 position flap switch
Or you could do it this way,
On your flap channel:
0% Half Switch(ID0) # This line isn't needed, because the channel will default to 0
50% Half Switch(ID1)
100% Half Switch(ID2)
Keep in mind that to the radio the channels go from -100 to 100. So the middle is at zero. Then 75% would be 50.

Be sure to read through all of Westy's posts here. But it should work for you.
There is another setup here. Which is only a single PDF to read and an associated model file.

More likely a domain registration problem, or a dead server. Domains typically get registered by the year, so even if the company closes the website stays around for a while.

Go to the telemetry setup menus. Sounds like maybe the vario is turned on. I don't remember specifically which menu it is in, but it is at the bottom. Another hung to check are the stick center beeps. These are in the first model setup menu.

It is still doing it. This time I simply loaded the template, so throttle is on channel 5. I have noticed if I set the swash ring to 0 it doesn't affect the throttle channel. The swash ring is used to adjust total swash deflection, I set it such that full AIL or ELE stick and the swash is just below...
